Ferratum Bank is a Nordic financial services provider that operates globally for almost 20 years across 15 different countries and is known for their customer-first approach. As a key sponsor of the Ferratum World RX Championship, the brand embraces values of courage and pushing boundaries. Ferratum initially partnered with DELFI Brand Studio, Latvia’s leading digital media platform, to amplify its presence through a creative, high-impact campaign. As DELFI’s partner, we were brought on board to develop and execute the concept, storytelling, and creative production behind the campaign.
Challenge
The goal of Ferratum was to go beyond a simple sponsorship and traditional advertising, and create a memorable brand activation campaign that would:
Differentiate from past campaigns
The project needed a fresh, non-traditional approach to stand out from previous Ferratum activations.
Align storytelling with brand values
The campaign had to seamlessly integrate Ferratum’s core themes—speed, courage, creativity and fearlessness—while engaging a broader audience.
Maximize visibility and engagement
The campaign needed a multi-format, media-driven approach that would extend beyond rallycross fans and attract wider public attention.
Solution
Together with DELFI Brand Studio, we developed and executed a bold, cross-industry creative activation campaign that merged rallycross with underground electronic music.
We conceptualized the Ferratum Challenge, a first-of-its-kind music competition where two well-known Latvian techno artists were tasked with creating original tracks using only rallycross car sounds.
Unexpected fusion of two worlds
This project bridged the gap between rallycross and electronic music culture, making it exciting, relevant, and shareable.
Symbolism of speed, creativity and competition
Both participating artists had contrasting music styles, reinforcing the theme of competition and diversity, thus helping align the campaign with Ferratum’s brand values.
