The first Hampton by Hilton hotel in Latvia was opened in 2022. Located near Riga Airport, it caters to transit travelers, business professionals and local residents looking for a convenient meeting spot. To showcase the modern rooms, a restaurant and conference facilities, the hotel management needed to reach out to target audiences in Latvia and abroad.
The collaboration with Hampton by Hilton Riga Airport was carried out in two phases – before the launch of the hotel, and after, to attract additional attention from specific audiences.
Phase 1: PR launch for market entry
Challenge
Although there already was one Hilton hotel in Latvia, Hampton by Hilton is a different brand, operated by a different team, and was thus brand new for the target audiences in Latvia. To successfully enter the market, it needed to:
- Introduce Hampton by Hilton Riga Airport to the local and travel audience in Latvia.
- Position itself as the go-to airport hotel for both travelers and business visitors.
- Secure strong media coverage to boost initial visibility.
Solution

Challenge
A year after the launch, Hampton by Hilton Riga Airport wanted to tract awareness in both leisure travelers and corporate client segments, but with a limited budget. The challenge was to create a cost-effective campaign that would reach two distinct target audiences—B2C (individual travelers) and B2B (corporate partners and business travelers).
Solution
A dual-approach activation capmaign combining influencer marketing and paid media placement with DELFI was designed.
