We’ve done what we should have a long time ago — we became our own client. And as it turns out, we’re the toughest one we’ve ever had. Demanding, overbooked, picky, busy with other clients… and somehow still grateful. For years, we built systems for others, while ignoring our own, but this year, we finally did it – we looked at MATCH Agency as a project, applied our own tools and frameworks, and built a case study for ourselves. Strategy, content, design, development — all in-house, and all under pressure.
Challenge
For years, we focused on growing our clients’ brands — while our own online presence remained underdeveloped. The original MATCH site no longer reflected who we’d become: a full-cycle agency with a wide partner network and a robust toolbox. It was more of a mood board, but we had long since moved past that. We had several challenges to address:
Unclear positioning
We have grown from a content-first creative studio to a full-service agency network — but our website didn’t reflect it.
Low visibility
Most leads came via word-of-mouth. We weren’t using SEO or PPC tools we actively apply for our clients.
Lack of content structure
Our tools, services, and industry expertise were scattered across decks and emails.
Outdated design and architecture
We needed a modern, functional website that reflects our growth and speaks to both enterprise and startup clients.
High operational load
We constantly explained the same things to new clients. A new client meant a new batch of presentations built from scratch. We wanted a website that works as a clear, well-written sales tool.
Solution
We treated ourselves as our own client — and built a solution we’d be proud to deliver for others.
New positioning
Over the years, we have built a strong network of trusted partners — each backing us up with a specific tool or service. We have grown into what we are now: not just specialists, but marketing architects who understand the mechanics of every tool and how to bring them all together into a working system. So, we clarified our structure:
- MATCH Agency — the strategic and management core
- MATCH Network — a trusted circle of independent teams and experts, each owning a specific area of execution
Website prototyping & architecture
We structured the website as a “supermarket” of services, where each service and tool has its own dedicated landing page. This allows us to match (no pun intended) user intent with clear SEO structure, support paid traffic segmentation, and make every entry point informative and conversion-oriented.
Clear clustering
To avoid overwhelming and confusing the potential clients, we organized services into intuitive clusters. For more complex, hybrid offers, like content + lead gen + analytics — we created signature solution pages, showing how multiple tools work as one system. Now clients can better navigate, compare, and pick what fits their needs.
Industry-specific segmentation
We introduced a section for key industries we serve: real estate, manufacturing, IT, and fintech. This allows us to speak directly to sector-specific pain points, showcase our track record, and tailor our service offering with more precision.
Case study system
We built a modular framework for publishing and scaling case studies — flexible, unified in format, and easy to update. This helps us highlight client results consistently and ensures each new story has a place to live (without yet another custom layout request).
Design & identity refresh
We kept our original brand essence — but modernized the UI, gave more space to breathe, and introduced a strong, saturated red as the primary accent. The result is a look that balances seriousness with energy, works for both startup founders and enterprise execs, and feels like a proper digital HQ.
SEO copywriting
Every service, industry, and solution page was written from scratch, using dedicated semantic cores, based on high-intent keywords. We didn’t want fluff or filler — just straight, helpful, relevant text that Google (and real humans) will understand.
CMS and dev setup
Quite early on we understood that “custom” isn’t always best, which is why we went with WordPress: the most flexible, scalable, and familiar system for our team. With it, we can quickly upload new content, update landing pages, and avoid unnecessary dev cycles. Our strategists and project managers can now publish new content without calling in a developer.
Performance setup
To future-proof our traffic sources, we integrated Google Analytics, GTM, and Meta Pixel from the start. This gives us full visibility into what works, and lays the foundation for future PPC campaigns, retargeting flows, and CRO improvements.
Results
- Clearer positioning and visual system for our agency network
- Optimized pages for every service, tool, and industry segment
- Content framework ready for ongoing case studies and blog
- SEO-ready content and structure from day one
- Better onboarding experience for new clients
- A more motivated, aligned team — proud of their new digital home
What’s next?
As marketers, we know: a website is never really finished.
First, there will be new languages added soon, so that more clients can access what we have to offer. But the biggest results will come as we launch the 3-month promo campaign (yes, we made a strategy for ourselves too — finally).
In short – we are still a work in progress — and we’ll be back to update you on our progress.
Until then!
